THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of widespread rain in the capital city in the next few hours. The IMD has informed that in the next three hours there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram, strong winds with a speed of less than 40 km per hour and light rain at isolated places in Kollam. Yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta and Idukki today.
The National Oceanographic Research Center informed that there is a possibility of high waves of 0.9 to 1.0 meters along the Kerala coast till 11.
