Jubo league leader held in Bogura

Police arrested a district Jubo League leader from his residence at Belgium Math of Latifpur Colony in Bogura's Sadar upazila on Saturday morning. "Engineer Khairul Alam alias Lakhin, an active member of the Jubo league district unit, was arrested from his own residence today," said SM Mainuddin, officer-in-charge of Bogura Sadar Police Station. Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid and arrested Khairul, also a central committee president of Bangladesh Human Rights Association, at his residence in the area.

He will be sent to the court after reviewing cases filed against him. MB.
