On the third anniversary of the Netflix series Heartstopper, it was announced that the show would be coming back one more time but as a feature film instead. The final chapter of Nick Nelson, played by Kit Connor, and Charlie Spring, played by Joe Locke, will be going into production later this summer. A Heartstopper movie, our final chapter based on Alice Oseman's upcoming volume six, is coming!!!" The fan-favourite series, which is the most rewatched show on Netflix, first premiered on April 22, 2022. It is based on Alice Oseman's Heartstopper graphic novels, and the feature film will adapt Volume 6, which is the last book in the series, and the Nick and Charlie novella.
