She also spoke about people commenting on choice of her clothes and connecting it to religion. She added that one must follow a path that gives peace, whether it is by going to a mandir, a gurudwara or a church. She also added "I even say this openly: I pray namaz. If I get time, I pray five times a day.
I even carry my prayer mat while travelling. Wherever I go, I find the same peace and calm. I’ve always believed there’s one God, and different paths to connect with Him.

When I post my picture, people ask, ‘What kind of Muslim is she? Look at her clothes’. How do I handle it? Just like any other criticism" she said. She also emphasised that online trolling does not change her neither does it stop her from going to a temple or praying namaz.
Her statement has gone viral in entertainment news . On the work front, Nushratt Bharuccha's latest release was Chhorii 2. The movie had an OTT release and received good reviews from the mases.
It was a horror film, sequel to 2021 release - Chhorii. Recently, the actress had made it to the headlines as she spoke about getting replaced by Ananya Panday in Dream Girl 2. She mentioned that she felt 'hurt' as she was the only one who got replaced.
