The article in the Courant, November 21 ( Avon “Flower Lady” ) regarding the harassment, threats and hatred directed at this family never identifies the culprit, Donald Trump. Donald Trump and his cult followers unleash vitriol and hate against our fellow Americans and The Hartford Courant needs to say his name “Donald Trump”, Donald Trump is the poison that is feeding racism, misogyny and divisions amongst family member and neighbors and it is truly a tragedy. His soulless existence harms all of us.
It is time the Avon Police Department arrest these people for their threats and harassment because the potential for them to commit violence cannot be understated. Protect the family – arrest these offenders. Eileen Redden, South Windsor.
