Former WWE chairman, CEO and head of creative Vince McMahon is no longer among the 400 wealthiest people in America. According to Forbes (h/t WrestleTalk ), McMahon dropped out of its Forbes 400 for 2024 after ranking No. 366 last year.

At this time last year, the 79-year-old was executive chairman of TKO, which is the joint company owned by Endeavor Group Holdings under which both WWE and UFC reside. However, McMahon resigned from his position in January in the wake of a lawsuit filed against him , WWE and former WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis by former WWE employee Janel Grant. A WWE board of directors investigation previously determined that McMahon had paid millions of dollars to multiple women in exchange for them signing non-disclosure agreements and remaining silent about sexual relationships with and sexual misconduct allegations against McMahon.

Grant was one of the women who signed an NDA, and as part of her lawsuit against McMahon, she alleged that he sexually assaulted and humiliated her, and sexually trafficked her to others in WWE, including Laurinaitis. Last week, a docuseries entitled Mr. McMahon dropped on Netflix, and while it focused partly on McMahon helping bring WWE to prominence through his leadership, it also shed additional light on Grant's allegations against him and other scandals he was involved with.

Per Deadline's Katie Campione , Mr. McMahon was the fourth-most-watched show Netflix last week with 4.9 million views.

While McMahon sold the rest of his WWE shares for a total of $776 million in April, according to Brendan Coffey of Sportico, his net worth is still down compared to last year. Per Forbes , McMahon was worth $2.7 billion in 2023, and he is now worth $2.

5 billion. While McMahon took WWE to new heights and helped make it a global phenomenon after purchasing it from his father in 1982, the WWE machine has continued to hum along without him under the leadership of president Nick Khan and head of creative Triple H. WWE has been delivering record revenue and attendance dating back to last year, and it has another huge premium live event on tap in the form of Bad Blood on Saturday.
