CALEDONIA, Minn. — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 44 near Caledonia on Monday, April 28, 2025. A 2019 Mazda CX9 was traveling south on Highway 44 and a 1998 Chrysler Sebring was traveling west on the highway when the vehicles collided near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 76 around 10:50 a.
m. Monday, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report. ADVERTISEMENT The driver of the Mazada, 78-year-old Harold William Fruechte of Naperville, Illinois, had non-life threatening injuries.
He was treated on the scene for his injuries. The driver of the Chrysler, 34-year-old Adrian Christophe Pedrin of Caledonia, had non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to Emplify Health in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Caledonia Police Department, Caledonia Fire Department and Caledonia Ambulance Service responded to the crash..
