Read More Maruti Suzuki has introduced the updated 2025 Eeco in India with prices starting from Rs 5.7 lakh (ex-showroom). The MPV now comes with six airbags as standard across all variants, a new 6-seater layout, and improved interior comfort, as per TOI.

95 lakh The biggest highlight of the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Eeco is the inclusion of six airbags as standard across all models. This move marks a significant step towards improved passenger safety. The MPV also gets three-point seatbelts for every occupant, along with pre-tensioners and force limiters for the front seats.

Other standard safety features include: ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) Electronic Stability Control Front seatbelt reminders Reverse parking sensors Maruti Suzuki has phased out the older 7-seater variant, replacing it with a new 6-seater layout. The second row now features captain seats, providing better comfort for passengers. The familiar 5-seater variants remain unchanged.

The 2025 Eeco now comes with fabric upholstery, replacing the older PVC material. The front seats now recline outwards, a change from the previous inward recline design. The cabin also features: A digital instrument cluster New steering wheel Rotary controls for AC and heater Cabin air filter Dome lamp with battery saver mode Sliding doors and windows In the 5-seater variants, Maruti has added a luggage restraint system in the boot, offering better safety by limiting cargo movement during sudden stops or impacts.

Under the bonnet, the Eeco continues with the 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that delivers 80 bhp and 104.4 Nm of torque.

On CNG, it produces 71 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. A major update is that the engine is now E20 fuel compatible—supporting a mix of 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol, meeting the government’s latest emission norms.
