The SEC held steady as the leading conference in tournament representation in Baseball America’s latest Projected Field of 64 with 13 bids, followed by the ACC (10), Big 12 (6), Big Ten (4) and Sun Belt (3). The Big West, Big East and Southland received two bids in the latest projection, including their automatic qualifiers.NC State and Alabama, which were projected No.

2 seeds last week, stepped into hosting positions while Arizona and UCLA moved behind the hosting line. McNeese State, the previous projected conference winner in a two-bid Southland, was replaced by Southeastern Louisiana. Western Kentucky was the only at-large team included in last week’s projected field that did not make the cut after Week 11.



Southern Mississippi, UTSA and Xavier moved up from a projected No.3 seeds to No. 2 seeds, while Cal Poly, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech shifted in the other direction to accommodate them.
