Featured tee time for Round 3 Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry aren’t out of it at the halfway point of the Zurich Classic, but they’ve got their work cut out for them heading into Round 3 on Saturday. McIlroy and Lowry shot a three-under 69 in foursomes on Friday to improve their score to 11 under. It also improved their position to T16 .
But if they’re to successfully defend their 2024 title and win a second consecutive Zurich Classic title, they’ll need to catch 36-hole leaders Isaiah Salinda and Kevin Velo. The leaders shot a 69 in Round 2 to move to 17 under. Team McIlory/Lowry will get Saturday’s third round started at 10:28 a.
m. ET with Cam Davis and Adam Svensson. You can watch Saturday’s third round of the Zurich Classic on TV via CBS and Golf Channel, with Golf Channel kicking off the coverage from 1-3 p.
