com Syracuse, N.Y. — A man was found shot in his leg and arm Thursday evening in Syracuse, police said.
This is the third shooting in the city this week. Police were alerted to a shots-fired call in the 100 block of Otisco Street at about 5:02 p.m.
, according to Kieran Coffey, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department. They learned a 21-year-old man had been shot multiple times, but was taken to the 300 block of Kellogg Street, he said. A 21-year-old shot in his leg and arm was found by police in the 300 block of Kellogg St.
on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Timia Cobb When police arrived there, they found the 21-year-old with gunshot wounds to his leg and arm. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is in stable condition, according to Coffey.
This is the third shooting this week in the city. On Wednesday, a 61-year-old was fatally shot near Armory Square . Another man was shot and killed Wednesday night on the North Side of Syracuse.
