24th Jammu District Sport Climbing competition held

Excelsior Sports CorrespondentJAMMU, Apr 27: Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, emerged as the champion in the 24th Jammu District Sport Climbing Competition, winning 13 medals, including 5 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze. The two-day competition, which concluded today, saw the school’s climbers dominating the Mini Boys and Sub Junior Boys categories, winning all the medals in these two divisions.They also secured a Gold and Silver in the Sub Junior Girls category and Gold in the Junior Girls category.

In the Mini Girls category, Humera claimed first place, followed by Ayshi Bhagat in second and Divpreet Kour from Shiksha Niketan School in third. In Mini Boys, the top three positions were secured by Hashver Singh, Yashwin Bhagat and Honey, all from Sprawling Buds ICSE School. For the Sub Junior Girls, Ayaana Bhagat took first place, Ayesha Tabir Khan secured second, and Drishti Dutta from St.



Xavier Convent Sr. Secondary School, Barnai, finished in third. The Sub Junior Boys category saw Rudra Rajput, Daksh Sharma, and Ayush Singh Surmal, all from Sprawling Buds ICSE School, taking the top three spots, with Aryan from Elite Public School, Udhewala, receiving a Special Bronze Medal.

In the Junior Girls category, Aradhya Thakur of Sprawling Buds ICSE School won Gold, while Avni from Coventry Scholars, Jammu, and Arushi Katoch from St. Xavier Convent Sr. Secondary School, Barnai, took second and third positions respectively.

The Junior Boys category was won by Aradhya Manhas of St. Xavier Convent Sr. Secondary School, followed by Ankit from Shining Star High School, Muthi, in second and Vishav Thakur from Sprawling Buds ICSE School in third.

In the Men’s category, Arun Deep Singh from Muthi claimed first place, Kashish from Govt Hr. Sec School, Muthi, took second, and Harmann and Abhinav Chauhan received Special Gold Medals from Shiksha Niketan School.The Women’s category was won by Shilpa Charak, while Bhumika and Muskan, both from Shiksha Niketan Sr.

Sec. School, claimed second and third places, along with Tanisha Rakwal of St. Xavier Convent Sr.
