A “danger level” heat index is expected in 26 areas across the country on Friday, April 25, PAGASA said in in its daily forecast. According to the state weather bureau’s 5 p.m.
April 24 bulletin, the synoptic stations in the following areas could measure a 42°C-45°C heat index: 45°C 44°C 43°C 42°C The state weather bureau categorizes areas with a 42°C to 51°C heat index in the "danger" category, with a risk for heat stroke.
