Greystar, in partnership with Griffin Capital, has started construction on a multi-family housing development in St. Petersburg. The Henry at Whitney Village will measure five stories above grade, offering 325 apartments.
Floorplans will span studio to three-bedroom units. Outdoor communal amenities will include a swimming pool with cabanas, grilling stations, and fire pits. Indoor offerings include (but aren’t limited to) co-working space and a fitness center.
Earlier this year, Greystar purchased the 4.5-acre build site for $12 million. It intends to finish construction by 2027, with pre-leasing starting the year prior.
These will likely be at-market-rate homes; the average cost of an 874-square-foot apartment in St. Petersburg is $2,100 a month, per . South Carolina-based Greystar has many projects in its pipeline, two of which Florida YIMBY covered.
The first is , a garden-style housing development in its namesake city. Upon completion, the venture will comprise 336 apartments, along with various amenities. The second is Elan Crown Point in Ocoee.
