5 injured in road accident

Excelsior CorrespondentREASI, Apr 24: A couple among five persons were injured in a collision between a Tempo and car on Reasi-Katra road, here today.The accident took place near Saldi village on the Reasi-Katra road when the Tempo bearing registration number JK14A- 3199 collided with an Eeco car (JK06A 4231), coming from opposite side and then slipped downward .Among the injured was Chamail Singh (57), son of Sarwan Singh, a resident of Kanthi, Tehsil Thuroo, District Reasi.

He was initially taken to CHC Katra and later referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.The other four injured, identified as Ashok Kumar (47) and his wife Usha Devi (40), residents of Christian Colony, Reasi; Pankaj Kumar (22), son of Kartar Chand from Aghar Jitto; and Reshika (37), wife of Vaneet from Ward No. 5, Reasi, were admitted to District Hospital Reasi for medical treatment.
