The No. 1 corner and athlete in the nation, Brandon Arrington, has Oregon in his Top 5 after visiting Autzen Stadium on Saturday.

The spring football game serves many purposes for a program. It gives fans a chance to watch their favorite team out on the field. It's an opportunity to collect canned food for Food for Lane County.

It also gives potential recruits a taste of what it's like playing inside Autzen Stadium.Many recruits got an eye and earful of what the atmosphere is like on Saturday and it obviously impressed some of those recruits. One of them was Brandon Arrington, the No.



1 cornerback/athlete in the Class of 2026. He has Oregon in his top five schools, along with Penn State, Texas A&M, Alabama, and USC. Arrington says he will announce his decision on July 5.

According to 247sports.com, Arrington is a five-star player with a composite score of .9937, the No.

1 athlete in California, in the nation and is the No. 9 overall player in the country. In short, he's really good.

According to 247 Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, Arrington's greatest strength is his speed at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds." (He's a) two-sport standout and one of the fastest sprinters in the country," Biggins said. "Has personal best times of 10.

43-100m and 20.76-200m as a sophomore and could easily double sport in college. On the grid-iron, shows the ability to play corner or receiver and should also develop into a dangerous return man.
