Drivers across Coventry and Warwickshire are being warned of 'major disruption' on the A45. This is due to the ongoing closure of a section of the A46 in both directions between the A45 Festival Island and A452 Thickthorn Island. Coventry City Roads has today (April 21) said that this will have an impact on the A45.
It has led to a warning being issued to drivers, encouraging them to ensure that they factor this into their journeys. "A46 closed until 1st May. Heavier traffic flow is expected on the A45, so allow more time for your journey," the post on X states.
