They were attending the Macau International Comedy Festival in China. Watch the video here: Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, and Aamir had known each other for 25 years but reconnected about a year and a half ago when she visited Mumbai. “We met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically," the actor said.
Gauri, who has a six-year-old son, explained that she was looking for someone gentle and intelligent, and she is glad to have found Aamir. “She is now working with my production house," he added, highlighting her involvement in his professional life.
