However, recently Khan revealed that his character in SZP is 'exactly the opposite' of TZP's Nikumbh. Aamir Khan Reveals about Sitaare Zameen Par During a recent conversation with his China Fan Club, Aamir Khan spilt beans about his character in Sitaare Zameen Par, a thematic sequel to Taare Zameen Par. The Thugs of Hindostan actor revealed that in Sitaare Zameen Par, they are going ten steps ahead from the previous instalment.



While sharing that the sequel is about differently abled people, love, friendship, and life, Khan promised that the theme of both films will remain the same. He also revealed that SZP is a comedy film that will make people laugh. 'Gulshan fights with his wife.

..! Further, talking about his character in Sitaare Zameen Par, Gulshan, Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist said that Gulshan is exactly opposite to Ram Shankar Nikumbh.

Khan said, "He is not sensitive at all. He is very rude, politically incorrect and he insults everybody. He fights with his wife, mother.

He is a basketball coach and he beats up his senior coach. He is a person with a lot of internal problems, and the story is how he changes with the film. How these people in the spectrum teach him what it is to be a good human being.

” Notably, Khan's sensitive and inspiring portrayal of Ram Shankar Nikumbh in Taare Zameen Par won the hearts of moviegoers. His dedication to understanding dyslexia and its effects on children added authenticity to his performance. Sitaare Zameen Par is a remake of the Spanish film Champions.

Helmed by RS Prasanna, the movie also features Darsheel Safary and Genelia D'Souza in lead roles. While the official release date of SZP hasn't been announced, reportedly, the movie will hit the theatres on June 20, 2025..
