ACP Alexson Naga Chabu now Kuching OCPD

Mohd Farhan (left) hands over the duties to Alexson, witnessed by Mancha.KUCHING (April 22): ACP Alexson Naga Chabu is now Kuching District police chief, replacing ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah who is on transfer to Miri.The Sarawak Police Contingent, in their official Facebook page, said the handing-over of duties, which took place at the Jalan Badruddin headquarters here yesterday afternoon, was witnessed by Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mancha Ata.

Alexson’s appointment was among the changes announced by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) last month, involving the transfer of 39 senior officers.The event also involved the appointments of the Police Family Association (Perkep) chairpersons for Miri and Kuching, namely Jesselyn Roland Demong and Arabia Abdul Rahim, respectively.This was witnessed by Sarawak Contingent Perkep head of welfare bureau Puspawati Mohd Aris.



At the event, Mancha also witnessed the rank conferment ceremony and handing-over of duties for the head of the Department of Internal Security and Public Order.The ceremony began with the rank conferment for Nor Omar Sappi, who was promoted to Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC).This was followed by the handing-over of duties for the head of the Department of Internal Security and Public Order from Supt Samima Mustapha to SAC Nor Omar Sappi.
