May 16, 1938—March 24, 2025 Ada Marie (Dey) Mobley age of 86, a lifelong friend, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Jerome, Idaho, on March 24, 2025, where she had resided for over 60 years. Ada was born on May 16, 1938, to Arthur and Helen Dey in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was a licensed Cosmetologist and worked in retail services such as The Bon Marche’ (later Macy’s) for 30+ years while raising her five children.
Ada had a passion for dancing, singing and enjoyed spending time with her family & the love of her life Fred Starr. After meeting Fred she enjoyed many hunting, fishing & outdoor adventures. She was also the life of the party, every Christmas Eve whether family or not she welcomed all to join her in her home! Ada is preceded in death by her parents; partner Fred Starr; brothers Raymond (Kathy) Dey, Gene (Loretta) Dey; daughters Terri (Randy) Elliot, Bobbi (Lynn) Weigt; Granddaughter Kristi (Weigt) Simmons; Grandson Kevin Weigt & Great Granddaughter Joslyn Johnson.
She is survived by her two sons Mike Peterson, Tracy Chatterton & daughter Leslie Mobley; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Ada’s sense of humor & Spicy Spirit will be missed tremendously by all who loved & knew her! No services will be held per her request.
