Adele’s recent outing comes several months after she announced her extended hiatus from music following the conclusion of her Las Vegas Residency. British music icon Adele has preferred to keep it low ever since she finished her successful Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in November. But to everyone’s surprise, the singer-songwriter decided to make a rare and stylish public appearance with her fiance Rich Paul over the weekend.
The couple enjoyed the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves NBA game on Saturday while sitting courtside at the Crypto.com Arena.
For their outing, the 36-year-old English singer looked effortlessly chic in a grey buttoned-up shirt paired with matching trousers, which she layered using a tan jacket and golden accessories. Rich, a sports agent and the founder of Klutch Sports Group, kept it cool in a black long-sleeved T-shirt and matching pants. He opted for a silver chain to add an oomph factor to his monochrome outfit.
This appearance comes amid Adele’s extended hiatus from music, which she first announced during a show in Germany in September 2024. Reflecting on the past few years of her live shows, the English singer said as per NME, “I’m not the most comfortable performer, I know that, but I am very fucking good at it. And I have really enjoyed performing for nearly three years now, which is the longest I’ve ever done and probably the longest I’ll ever do.
" Adele informed her fans that after her shows in Las Vegas, she would take a long hiatus. She added, “I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break." Furthermore, the English singer stated that she would like to live the life she has built for herself over the past seven years.
Her last live performance was in November 2024, marking the end of her popular Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas. During the residency, the Rolling in the Deep singer had opened up about her personal life, revealing her hopes of starting a family with her fiance Rich once her shows ended. Adele is already a mom to her 11-year-old son, Angelo, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
