Air bags deploy as driver crashes stolen car, brings down tree along NJ road

The driver of a stolen car crashed into trees near a Cumberland County elementary school Tuesday morning causing the air bags to deploy, leaving a tree trunk on the road and sending three kids to the hospital with serious injuries, New Jersey State Police said. The mangled black sedan crashed along Sewall Road, just up the street from Hopewell Crest Elementary School around 5:35 a.m.
