Aman becomes first ISSF-certified shooting coach from J&K

Excelsior Sports CorrespondentJAMMU, May 3: In a landmark achievement for sports in Jammu & Kashmir, Aman Singh has become the first and only International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) certified coach from the region. He successfully completed the prestigious 12-week ISSF Academy Course under the directorship of Vesa Nissinen, ISSF Academy Director.Aman Singh, Co-Founder and coach at Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ), undertook this elite course specializing in rifle shooting coaching.

The program was structured to equip coaches with the latest scientific and technical knowledge, covering athlete development, competition preparation, and modern training methodologies.Renowned experts conducted key modules including Mental Training by Robert Pakk, Physical Training by Tommi Parmakoski, Sports Health Management by James Galea, Skill Acquisition by Jack Bale, Rifle Technique by Olympian Anjali Bhagwat, and Professional Coaching Skills by Kimmo Yli-Jaskari.This globally recognized certification now makes Aman Singh eligible for the advanced ISSF course to be held in Finland later this year.
