LAHORE - The 5th edition of the Karachi Open Squash Championship 2025 wrapped up in style at the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan (RKJK) Squash Complex. The tournament featured an impressive lineup of 64 male and 24 female players, competing across intense matches that drew the attention of squash fans and enthusiasts alike.In the women’s final, Dammia Khan captured the championship title with a commanding performance against Anam Aziz, winning 3-0 with game scores of 11/5, 11/8, before Anam was forced to retire (RTD) due to injury.
The men’s final proved to be a gripping five-set thriller, as Anas Khan edged past Naveed Rehman in a fiercely contested showdown. Anas prevailed with scores of 11/8, 11/9, 4/11, 10/12, 11/7 in a match that lasted 45 minutes and kept the crowd on the edge of their seats. The closing ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries including Shakeel M Paracha, Chief Manager at State Bank of Pakistan; Abdul Basit Shaikh, Chief Country Representative of Mashreq Bank Pakistan Liaison Office; Muhammad Afzal, Assistant Manager at PN RKJK Squash Complex; and Muhammad Naveed Alam, Tournament Director.
