Last we saw Garfield in ‘No Way Home’, where all the memories of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) being Spider-Man was wiped from the world.

The world has forgotten that teenager Peter Parker (Tom Holland) was the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. But Marvel cannot just let his story bite the dust. It was in July 2024 when Kevin Feige, the Marvel Studios President, dropped a significant update about the script of the highly anticipated ‘Spider-Man 4’ being in development.

There’s no doubt that fans are eager to learn what will unfold in Peter Parker’s life next. Amid this, rumours swirling also majorly suggested Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire might likely join Tom Holland once again in the upcoming film. Although Garfield was quick to put an end to the speculation, the actor, 41, recently revealed he is open to wearing the Spider-Man suit again.



But his decision comes with a condition. Garfield, who was a guest at the Abu Dhabi Comic Con, said, “I would love to play the character again in some capacity, but I think it would have to be very weird. I think I would like to do something very strange, I would want to do something very unique, and offbeat and surprising.

Well, Tom Holland has officially revealed the title of the fourth installment at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Andrew Garfield says he wants to return as Spider-Man again in some capacity.

I am halfway around the world shooting a movie.

I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of 'No Way Home,' so 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.

The film was earlier set to release on July 24, 2026. With this change, now it will hit the theatres after a gap from Christopher Nolan's ‘The Odyssey,’ which also stars Holland and opens theatres on July 17.
