Vijayawada: Raj Kasireddy, the prime accused in the multi-crore liquor scam, has announced that he will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for questioning. In an audio message released to the media, Kasireddy stated he would attend the SIT inquiry on Tuesday between 11 a.m.
and 12 p.m. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has deferred hearing his anticipatory bail petition by one week.
Despite earlier summons, Kasireddy had evaded investigation until now. It is noteworthy that former Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayasai Reddy appeared before the SIT on Friday, April 18.
