Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone could reportedly be priced at over Rs 2 lakhs in India. According to these leaks, it can be priced between Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 2 lakh after taxes and import duties.

According to reports Apple is planning to use premium materials in its foldable iPhone. For a while now, there have been rumours that Apple is most likely working on a foldable device, and there might be some weight to these rumours. We might get to see a foldable by Apple soon but don’t expect it to come with an affordable price tag.



According to a new leak shared by tipster Instant Digital on the Chinese platform Weibo, Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone could be priced at over Rs 2 lakhs in India. If there is any weight to these leaks, the iPhone Fold can be priced between $2,100 and $2,300, which roughly translates to Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 2 lakh in India after taxes and import duties.

This means that this can be more expensive than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 (which costs Rs 1,49,999) and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold (around Rs 1.62 lakh). It would also be almost twice the price of the current iPhone 16 Pro Max, which starts at $1,199 (around Rs 1 lakh).

Foldable iPhone Specifications (Expected) So what’s driving the high price? According to reports Apple is planning to use premium materials in its foldable iPhone, including a liquid metal hinge that is said to be even more durable than titanium. The phone is also expected to feature a Samsung-made 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.
