Excelsior Sports CorrespondentJAMMU, Apr 23: A total of 130 bodybuilders and physique athletes participated in the official weigh-in conducted by the Body Builders Association of Jammu and Kashmir (BBAJK) at International Gym, Rehari Colony, Jammu, ahead of the 25th Silver Jubilee J&K Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025.Scheduled for April 26 at the Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu, the championship will see intense competition across men’s, women’s and masters categories. The weigh-in was supervised by Rajesh Dutta, who reiterated BBAJK’s mission to promote a drug-free, healthy lifestyle among the youth of the region.
“Through regular district and state-level competitions, we aim to inspire the youth to adopt natural fitness practices under the guidance of qualified coaches and trainers,” he said.Prominent figures present at the event included Vinay Sharma, Sanjay Bali, Naresh Gupta, Vimal Jit, Ajit Singh, Javed Bhatti, Kamal Singh and Krishan Lal. Their support underscores a growing community commitment to health, fitness, and well-being.
