Attempted murder arrests after man shot in Bradford car park

Four men have been arrested after a man was shot in Bradford . On April 19, just after 10pm, West Yorkshire Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a man who had been shot after arriving at the hospital with a gunshot wound. His injury was serious, but not life-threatening.

The shooting happened in a car park off of Oak Lane, at the junction of Victor Street in Manningham, following an argument. Now, a number of arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and a 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They are both now in police custody. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, while another 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both were bailed pending further investigation. Police scenes remain in place across Bradford at Girlington Road, Carlisle Place and West Park Road. A scene is also in place at Hare Park Mount in Leeds.
