Atul Kulkarni, known for his role in Rang De Basanti, visited Pahalgam shortly after a tragic terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 tourists in the Baisaran Meadow, often referred to as “Mini Switzerland.” His visit was a deliberate act to convey a powerful message: terrorism cannot deter tourists from visiting the region. Deeply moved by the news that 90 percent of bookings were cancelled following the attack, Atul felt that staying in Mumbai would not suffice to express his stance.
Instead, he chose to travel in person, setting an example during these challenging times. #WATCH | Pahalgam, J&K: On #PahalgamTerroristAttack , Actor Atul Kulkarni says "The incident that took place on 22nd April has made the entire country sad..

The entire country is deeply saddened. When I read about it, I was thinking that every time something like this happens, what do we do? We post on social media, we talk to friends, we write something, but then I thought, what can I actually do in real action?” He continued, “That’s when I remembered reading that 90% of the bookings here had been cancelled. So I felt – what message are they trying to send by doing this? They’re basically saying, ‘Don’t come to Kashmir.
’ And the response we should give is, ‘We will come. Kashmir is ours.’ But I couldn't give that message while sitting in Mumbai.
It was important that I come here myself.” A post shared by Atul Kulkarni (@atulkulkarni_official) A post shared by MS_EMMSONS_OFFICIAL (@ms_emmsons) Atul Kulkarni has been actively sharing glimpses of his trip on social media.
