Our Sports Reporter The day 4 of the 5th All India Brahmaputra Squash Championship 2025 witnessed an intense lineup of semi-final and final matches, with players giving their all in pursuit of a spot on the podium. The highlight of the day was the thrilling Boys U-11 semi-final match between Ayaan Kaushik (Assam) and Ved Sanganaria (West Bengal), seeded 3/4. In a nail-biting five-game battle, Ayaan staged a remarkable comeback inthe game and eventually clinching the match 11-13, 11-4, 12-14, 12-10, 11-7.
His resilience, grit, and never-give-up attitude were on full display as he turned the match around in stunning fashion.With this victory, Ayaan becomes the first player from Assam in a decade to reach the final of a 4-star event. The finals will be held tomorrow from 8:00 AM onwards and it will be followed by the prize distribution ceremony.
