Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Apr 22: In a heartfelt tribute to one of the most revered saints of the Bhakti Movement, the 725th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Baba Sain Bhagat was celebrated with devotion and communal harmony today at Sain Samaj Sabha Bhawan, located near Rani Park in Jammu.The commemorative event was organized by All J&K Sain Samaj (AJKSS) Sabha and drew hundreds of devotees from across Jammu province. The spiritual gathering began with a sacred Hawan, invoking peace and blessings, followed by Pooja rituals and the soulful Katha recitation narrating the life and teachings of Baba Sain Bhagat.
The ceremony concluded with a devotional Aarti, filling the air with spiritual fervor.Baba Sain Bhagat, a saint of the 14th century, is remembered for his teachings rooted in devotion, humility, compassion, and selfless service. He lived a life of simplicity and dignity, demonstrating that true spirituality transcends social divisions.
His legacy continues to inspire generations to lead lives grounded in service to humanity.On this auspicious occasion, Kewal Krishan Fottra, president of the All J&K Sain Samaj Sabha, extended greetings to the community and the public at large. “Today, we pay homage to not just a saint, but to the timeless values he stood for—faith, equality, and unity,” he said.
