Everyone deals with grief differently. For Babil Khan, son of the legendary actor Irrfan Khan, it was the outpouring of love from his father’s fans that he found solace in. In a recent interview, he opened up about this and admitted that he grew attached to the spotlight following the loss.
Babil, who became an overnight sensation through his Instagram posts, said the overwhelming support from so many people brought him comfort and emotional strength during that difficult time. He had been battling a neuroendocrine tumour since 2018. The actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital a day before his death due to a colon infection. He is survived by kids Babil and Ayaan and wife Sutapa Sikdar.
