Payton has a right shoulder strain. Brandin Podziemksi isn't listed on the injury report after battling that recent stomach illness.— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) April 25, 2025Of course, Butler is listed as questionable due to a pelvis and deep gluteal muscle contusion that caused him to exit Game 2 late in the first quarter after taking a hard fall on a rebound attempt.

The good news for the Warriors is that Brandin Podziemski is not listed on their injury report after he was limited in Game 2 due to a stomach illness.Golden State Warriors forwards Jimmy Butler III (10) and Draymond Green (23)© David Gonzales-Imagn Images This is massive news, especially if Golden State is without both Butler and Payton II as they will need Podziemski and the rest of their roster to step up.Of course, if Butler is sidelined for Game 3, Stephen Curry will have to carry the load for the Warriors along with Draymond Green, but Jonathan Kuminga could also see an increased role once again.

Despite this, it is a terrible time for the Warriors to be hit with the injury bug as they look to regain control of the series on Saturday..
