Cathryn Horsfield, of Eddystone Walk, St Martin, Looe, admitted theft by an employee to the value of £111,296 belonging to Looe bakery between January 2014 and February 2022. Bodmin Magistrates' Court was told Horsfield accepts the theft, but claims she stole £71,000 rather than £111,000. The prosecution does not accept her basis of plea and her lawyer told the court: "It is still a considerable sum.
" The case was committed for sentence at Truro Crown Court next month and Horsfield was granted unconditional bail..
