June 18, 1972 — April 19, 2025 KEARNEY — Barbara A. Golden, 52, of Kearney, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney. Memorial services will be 2 p.
m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

, to Ronald “Doug” and Dixie (Jager) Ayers. She attended Kearney High School, graduating with the class of 1990. Barb was united in marriage to Dean Pelowski for 32 years.
This marriage was blessed with two children, Tyler and Rebecca. On August 28, 2021, Barb was united in marriage to John Golden in Inwood, Iowa.
She enjoyed playing darts, attending stock car races, time in the pool and spending time with her grandkids. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Golden of Kearney; son, Tyler (Tiffany Braid) Pelowski, and daughter, Rebecca Pelowski, all of Kearney; stepchildren, John “JL” (Nathan) Golden and Shelby Golden, all of Grand Island; grandchildren, Madelynn, Kaysen, Kristopher and Kalianna Pelowski and Owen Golden; mother, Dixie Ayers of Kearney; siblings, Amy (Carey) Senn of Bartlett, Eric Ayers of Kearney and Cassie Fuqua of Kearney; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Barb was preceded in death by her father, Doug Ayers.
