Beyond Paradise will reportedly begin filming season four this summer ahead of the third instalment's anticipated conclusion

Beyond Paradise's future seems to have been "confirmed" ahead of the season three finale. The hit crime drama began airing its third season on BBC One last month, and the final episode will premiere next Friday (May 2). However, it's now being reported that another instalment could possibly be on the cards.

While the BBC has yet to confirm a fourth series officially, TV Zone has reported that the hit crime drama will begin filming another season in July. The publication claims to have seen production listings to back its report. Started in 2023, Beyond Paradise features DI Humphrey Goodman, played by Kris Marshall, who relocated from Saint Marie to Shipton Abbott with his fiancée, Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton).

Together they encounter a myriad of peculiar cases alongside Humphrey's law enforcement team, which includes DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi), PC Kelby Hartford (Dylan Llewellyn), and office support Margo Martins (Felicity Montagu). The ensemble cast also boasts Melina Sinadinou, Jamie Bamber, and Barbara Flynn amongst its ranks. Season three has thrown challenging scenarios at the team, ranging from river corpses and poisoned chocolates to agricultural hostilities and nefarious activities at sea.

Elsewhere, fans have been left worried when Anne made a secretive visit to a doctor after detecting a disturbing mole on her back, reports Cornwall Live . Humphrey and Martha are also navigating the trials of fostering in their latest storyline, reflecting personal struggles that resonate with many viewers. Martha star Sally Bretton previously commented on the narrative's impact, saying: "It was really important the storylines felt right, and we're a healthy representation of what fostering can be like.

" Her co-star Kris Marshall weighed in with his thoughts as well, "The truisms in the script have to be truly representative of people's actual journey, for people who are actually experiencing this." Beyond Paradise is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
