Bengaluru: The city is set to see a short spell of rain, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light showers until April 29.

These rains and thundershowers will bring some relief from the rising heat, but after that, dry and warm weather is expected to return. After a stretch of dry days, Bengaluru’s weather is now turning a bit wetter. The IMD has predicted that the city will receive light rains and some thundershowers for the next few days.



According to the latest forecast, Bengaluru is likely to get rain till April 29, which should help cool things down slightly. However, once this brief rainy spell ends, drier conditions will take over. Bengaluru weather so far On Saturday, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 33.

Clear skies after April rains From April 30 onwards, Bengaluru’s weather is expected to settle. The skies will mostly stay partly cloudy, but no major rain is expected. This pattern is likely to continue through the first week of May.

People can expect pleasant mornings, warm afternoons, and cooler evenings, which is typical of Bengaluru’s early summer weather. Although the rains over the next few days won’t be very heavy or widespread, residents are advised to carry an umbrella or raincoat when stepping out. Thundershowers might pop up suddenly, especially in the afternoon or evening hours.
