BELOIT — The City of Beloit is selling 13 acres of land in the Gateway Business Park to Blackhawk Transport Inc. so the business can expand. On Monday, the Beloit City Council approved a purchase and development agreement with the company that calls for the company to pay the city $65,000 to buy the land and reimburse the city $200,000 that it spent on preparing the site at Milwaukee and South Turtle Townhall roads for development.
