Telugu actor Jr NTR became a global sensation after the release of SS Rajamouli directorial RRR . Starring alongside Ram Charan, he has essayed the role of Komaram Bheem, 20th century freedom fighter. While he was showered with love and praised for his all the action sequences, there was a silent force that made it all happen.
His body double, Eshwan Harris, who has now opened up about his admiration for the actor and why he turned down the opportunity to work alongside him again in War 2 . A post shared by Eshwar Harris (@eshwar_harris) During a recent interview with Mana Stars, Eshwar revealed that the makers of War 2 approached him to be Jr NTR’s body double in a few scenes. However, he decided to turn down the opportunity due to extremely low remuneration.
Quoted by Indian Express, he added, “They asked me to come to Mumbai on the next flight I could get. He said, “Bollywood is worse than us; I’m getting paid better than that here (in Tollywood). You have such high budgets; you should be paying better. I was asked to work for three days, but I turned it down because it’s barely enough to cover my travel.
” A post shared by Eshwar Harris (@eshwar_harris) For those who don’t know, the upcoming Ayan Mukerji directorial will see Hrithik Roshan’s return as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, while Jr NTR will reportedly play the role of a villain. It is also being reported that Kiara Advani has been cast as the leading lady of the film. The film is reportedly set for a release on August 14, 2025.
