Bolton Wanderers ' kit maker Macron has announced a UK turnover of around £40m for last year. This accounts for 21 per cent of the Italian brand's global sales and marks a 10 per cent year-on-year growth. Macron is a key player in the UK sports scene, with partnerships in football, rugby, basketball, and cricket.
Some of its UK club partners include Crystal Palace, Blackburn Rovers Wrexham, West Bromwich Albion, Scottish Rugby, and the Welsh Rugby Union. CEO of Macron Gianluca Pavanello said: "The UK stands alongside Italy – our home market – as one of the two pillars of Macron’s global business. "In 2024, the UK contributed €46.9 million in turnover, accounting for 21 per cent of our global sales and marking a 10 per cent year-on-year increase.
"That level of growth in such a strategically important market reflects the strength of our model- bespoke, sustainable design paired with deep, long-term partnerships across four major sports. "As the regulatory landscape evolves, we remain confident in our ability to adapt and continue delivering value all over the world. "Tariffs may change the rules, but they won’t change the spirit in which we approach the game.

In 2014, Macron acquired the naming rights of the stadium, which was renamed Macron Stadium until 2018.
And for the 2023/24 season, Macron launched a home shirt inspired by the design from the 1983/84 season, chosen by the fans through the "Pick Our Kits" poll..
