THE River Tweed starred on the BBC’s The One Show this week during a segment looking at TV personality Timmy Mallett’s passion for cycling and painting around the UK. The TV star was filmed painting at the iconic Leaderfoot Viaduct in March after speaking at the South of Scotland Destination Alliance’s annual tourism conference in Peebles. Mallett – who rose to fame presenting shows such as the Wide Awake Club – has been documenting his cycling journey around the south of Scotland to his social media following.
