Residents of a Lincolnshire town have been warned to keep windows shut as fire crews battle a blaze. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said it was tackling a fire on Tunnel Bank in Bourne as of 7.49am on Saturday, April 26.
The fire service has not disclosed the exact location of the incident, but a photo appears to show smoke rising above an industrial unit on the periphery of the town. In a post to social media site X, formerly known as Twitter, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: "We currently have a fire incident ongoing on Tunnel Bank in Bourne. "We are advising residents and businesses in the area keep doors and windows shut while the crews deal with the incident.
" Pictures from the scene confirm the incident is still ongoing as of 8.30am on Saturday..
