March 11, 2013 - April 10, 2025 With shattered hearts and unimaginable sorrow, we announce the passing of Braxton Thomas Edmonds, age 12, who left this world far too soon on April 10, 2025. Born on March 11, 2013, Braxton was a radiant spark of life, full of joy, laughter, curiosity, and compassion. Braxton, affectionately known to many as Brax, is the cherished son of Amy Shea and Scotty Edmonds.

He attended school in Anaconda and was currently a student at Fred Moodry Middle School where he made many friends and was known for his enthusiasm, humor and, above all, kindness. He loved spending time in Opportunity with his horse, Saint. He was active in gymnastics, basketball, football and was very excited to be a future Copperhead.

When Braxton wasn't watching his favorite Copperhead teams play, you might find him riding his scooter, dirt bike and snowmobile or playing lifeguard at the pool or jumping on his trampoline. Braxton also loved making TikTok's, snap chatting with friends and spending time with his Great Nana. Braxton had the biggest heart, the brightest smile, and a personality that lit up every room.

To know Braxton was to know pure, unfiltered joy. He was loving, loyal, hilarious, and wise beyond his years. Braxton loved an adventure.

Braxton's life was full of activities and interests that showcased his adventurous spirit. His imagination was unmatched; wild, witty, and endlessly creative. He could turn even the most ordinary day into something exciting, and there was never a dull moment when he was around.

Whether it was coming up with silly games, pulling harmless pranks, or making everyone laugh until their stomachs hurt, Braxton brought magic and mischief everywhere he went. Braxton was more than just a child; he was a light in the lives of those around him. He had a way of making people feel important, loved, and seen, just as they were.

His sense of humor, his warmth, and his ability to connect with others will never be forgotten. He is survived by his loving parents, Amy Shea (Jeremy), and Scott Edmonds; brothers, Kaden and Karson; sister, Neveah; nana, Jill Shea; and papa, Don; grandfather, Tom Edmonds; aunts, Misty, Sabrian, Tasha, Desirea, and Barbara; uncles, Darby and JC; cousins, Amber, Salena, Joe, Jake, Joey, Jaelyn, Ryson, Jersey, Maudi, Rob, Kim, Corey, Carey, Carly, Cheryl, Mark; many more second cousins; and best friends, Baily and Brooklyn Rubin, whom he shared an especially close bond with since they were little. Braxton is preceded in death by his Great Nana, Grandma Berger, Linda Berger, and cousin, Tera.

In honor of Braxton's beautiful spirit and in the hope of helping others, the family kindly requests memorials in honor of Braxton be made to Smelter City Gymnastics, 124 E Commerce Ave., Anaconda, Mont., 59711.

A celebration of Braxton's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Memorial Gym, 123 W 6th St.

in Anaconda. A reception will follow at the Forge in the convention room. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend and honor the incredible boy he was.
