The Cleveland Browns have built up their defense to new heights in the last two days after the additions of Mason Graham from the University of Michigan and Carson Schwesinger from the University of California-Los Angeles. Graham's selection was controversial among some Buckeyes and Browns fans considering he played his college ball in Ann Arbor, Michigan with the arch nemesis Michigan Wolverines and became infamous throughout Ohio for his war of words with Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer.Following Graham's selection, the number five overall pick was asked by Browns general manager Andrew Berry a million dollar question on whether or not he's ready to return to the Buckeye State.
Graham's answer turned heads on Friday as it began circulating on social media. Andrew Berry of the Cleveland Browns speaks to gathered media at the NFL combine. © Kirby Lee-Imagn Images "Are you okay coming back to Buckeye Country?" Berry asked Graham during an interview.
"Uhh yeah, I guess so," Graham said, laughing in an effort to break up the tension as Browns executives joined in on the fun. "You're really, you're tailor-made for this system, and we're really excited to make you a Cleveland Brown," Berry added as the stoic Graham shared words of appreciation before speaking to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Graham led Michigan to the 2023-2024 national championship and helped continue a streak of three straight conference championships before preparing for the NFL this past offseason.
