The Milwaukee Bucks' season is officially over. To make matters worse, they had a chance to stay alive in Game 5 of their NBA playoffs series against the Indiana Pacers but blew it.Giannis Antetokounmpo and company couldn't make one final stop to secure the victory, resulting in their elimination as the Pacers took the series 4-1.

The Bucks squandered a seven-point lead in the final 40 seconds of overtime, losing 119-118 as Tyrese Haliburton scored a layup with just 1.3 seconds remaining.Haliburton spearheaded Indiana's effort with a standout performance, totaling 26 points, five rebounds, nine assists, three steals and three blocks.

Gary Trent Jr. also made a significant impact, hitting eight 3-pointers and scoring 33 points for Milwaukee.Following the game, the Bucks posted a short message on social media that summarized how they're feeling.

This victory marked the second consecutive year that Indiana eliminated the Milwaukee franchise in the first round.

The Pacers will now advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals where they will face the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs swept the Miami Heat decisively on Monday.As for Milwaukee, it will be interesting to see what changes Antetokounmpo and the team will make during the offseason after failing to compete for a championship once again.
