INDIANAPOLIS -- Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma had a wrap on his left thumb after the team's 117-98 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of their playoff series on April 19, an injury he said occurred at some point in the first quarter.He wasn't sure what exactly what happened other than he hit it on someone, and "messed it up a little bit." Kuzma added he'll "probably" have to get it checked out after the team returns to Milwaukee for a couple off days before Game 2 on April 22.
More: Box score | Bucks scheduleHe said the injury did not affect his play in his Bucks playoff debut, which was a disappointing 22-minute effort that saw him score zero points on 0 of 5 shooting from the field and an 0-for-2 mark from the free throw line."It's hard to score when you don't touch the ball," Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said. "I mean, Kyle had two shots in the first half, both with two seconds on the shot clock.
So, like, Kuzma can play. But we gotta involve him. And we gotta make sure we keep him involved.
