An open letter, signed by over 25 Buckinghamshire-based environmental organisations, has been developed by Bucks Climate Action ahead of the election on May 1. The letter highlights the 'pressing reality' of the climate crisis, highlighting five urgent priorities for council candidates: engaging with and amplifying local climate action, achieving net zero, being a role model for positive change, helping to facilitate the clean energy transition and enabling increased clean and active travel. It has been signed by organisations across the county, including Wycombe Friends of the Earth, Climate Action Wendover, and Sustainable Chesham.
