Birmingham City are back on the road this afternoon with the short trip across the Midlands to Burton Albion. Blues are playing for records after wrapping up the League One title with six games to spare. Burton begin a three-game week for Blues where they will play Stevenage on Thursday and their final home match against Mansfield on Sunday.
Due to international call-ups and extended cup runs, Blues are playing catch up in the final two weeks of the season and having to cram games in. Like Crawley on Friday, Burton are battling for their lives down at the bottom of the table and in need of points. The Brewers looked dead and buried in December but Gary Bowyer has worked wonders to have them in contention for a place in League One next season with three games to play.
